I'm a semi retired mining engineer and have been Housesitting full time since April 2019 in the ACT, NSW, VIC, SA and WA. I started Housesitting after a long illness and it has been a godsend with my mental health and recovery. I am based in Perth and can service the South West area to Albany. I travel with my thermomix, my own computer and printer.

I am very experienced with small to large dogs, cats (multiply), chickens( raised from chicks), fish, peacocks (raised from chicks), birds, rabbits & guinea pigs. I can walk dogs from 3 small to two large (but it depends on the temperament and age). I have given medication to pets and have looked after elderly animals plus ones after surgery. Am only able to housesit domestic animals and within Perth area.

I pride myself on leaving your residence immaculate condition with very happy pets.

I had two cats called Fred (RIP2016) and Ginger (RIP2014). I had them for 17 years and 15 years respectively since they were wee kittens. And have named my Housesitting service FB, and instagram page - GingerFred Housesitting. As a child I also had an Albino Guinea Pig. I have lived in mining company housing for 11 years in remote mining towns and have looked after the houses impeccably including one with a pool. I am not much of a gardener but can water. I am a non-smoker, very clean & tidy and love meeting the neighbours while walking with your dog and at the local cafe.

Occasionally I may have my 19yo daughter (who is at university in Adelaide) with me but I'll inform you at he time. She has been a regular sitter with me in holidays and adores cats.
