Hello, and thanks for looking at my profile! My name's David - I'm a full-time comedian and writer, and a tragic pet lover. I travel around the country a lot for work, and it's always an added bonus if I can spend time with an animal or two while I'm in town.
I have a pair of cats at home in Melbourne (Mandy and Morticia), and I come from a long line of dog owners. I often pet-sit my sister's two dogs, Tucker and Poppy, and have previously worked as a private cat-sitter for neighbours and friends. Both of my cats are rescue animals - as are my sister's dogs - so I'm incredibly familiar with meeting shy animals and earning their trust.
My days are spent writing, video editing, and drinking copious amounts of tea, so I can be at home all day with your furry friend, if you like. I usually work from cafes and libraries during the day, if you'd rather have the house empty for your pets to roam around. Walking dogs is one of my favourite activies, so if that's on the agenda, I'm probably going to be as excited as your animal!
I perform most nights from about 8pm to 10pm, but can adapt my schedule to your pet's feeding routine. I don't smoke, drink, do illict substances, or throw parties. I'm fastidiously clean and will treat your house and animals as if they're my own, with all the care and attention that they deserve.
