Hello! My name is Sally and I am 30 years old. I have fur babies of my own (a 10 year old rescue cat named Miso and an Italian Greyhound named Sunny). I have experience feeding, cleaning up after, medicating and spending time with a variety of animals. I grew up on land with farm animals, in addition to cats and dogs! I’m very fortunate to have a mother as a vet (30 years experience) whom I am in constant contact with! I am new to using Pawshake but have attached photos of some of the pets I have cared for. I am employed with a non for profit organization where I attend the office 3 days per week in person and others have the flexibility to work from home.

I am available to care for your pet before 9am weekdays and then again after 5pm weekdays. When working from home I can attend during the day also if required. On weekends I have flexibility for your animals needs and no specific time period restrictions. My local neighbourhood is close by go numerous trails away from the road, in addition to parks that are dog friendly. I don't unfortunately host pets at my own home outside of my own.

For house visits, I can feed, check in on your pet, clean their litter, in addition to spending some time with them, especially if you are away and they may need some attention and time with another human! 

I am able to administer medication if required and also groom your pet if this is something they need in your absence. I do not offer training but if you have a dog I can walk him/her if needed which can either be close by to where you reside, or depending on the circumstances, may be able to travel to a nearby park or reserve or trail. 

Previous clients have been in the context of the family traveling overseas and preferring not to put their cat or dog in a kennel or other facility, in addition to people who have suffered an injury and are struggling to care for their pet but is important they remain in their care and be looked after. I am also happy to complete other tasks required such as watering plants and/or collecting your mail. 

I love animals of all sorts which greatly motivates me to care for your pet, I love meeting new animals learning about their individual personalities and making sure their needs are met, especially if their owners may need to go away or are on holidays. I love being able to provide some TLC to they feel safe and secure during this time!
