Myself and my husband love having pets in our home. We have been foster carers for Australian Working Dog Rescue since 2012, and our current dogs are all fosters that we couldn't part with. We have owned high drive/energy working dogs for over thirty years.

During our time in Pawshake, we've looked after many different breeds of dog with lots of different personalities. They are all special to us and we have a few repeat customers who love coming back each time. We both work at different times of the day and week, so pets are not without supervision for very long. We have permanent cats and dogs in our home. Our youngest dog Woody, loves having new friends to play with.

While your dog boards with us, we will happily walk your dog daily or take them to a dog park nearby for a good run. Walk/run is usually 30 - 60 minutes each day along with playtime in our backyard or home with our dogs. We only accept well socialised dogs for boarding as they will spend their time here with us and our dogs.

We ask that you provide all the food required for your pet's entire stay but we are happy to offer daily treats if you approve.

We accept more than one booking at the same time but this is a case by case basis.

Our home is very dog friendly! Tiled throughout living areas for easy clean up. Several dog beds and a daybed available for naps. We have a secure back yard with 6 foot fencing.

We do offer day care but will only accept a booking when one of us has the whole day off work.

Our daycare is to encourage socialisation and manners.

Drop off is preffered between 7am - 9am.

I am an experienced house and pet sitter, happy to come to you if that better suits your pet's needs. I will live in your home and cater to your pets with whatever they need to be safe and content.

I will also collect your mail, put out the bins and water the plants/garden if required.

We also do home visits which allow us to check in daily on your pets.

Most days we are available from mid afternoon to early evening.

These are 30 - 60 minutes giving time for feeding and interaction.

I know when I go on holidays, I worry about my pets and how happy they are. In our home your pets will be treated as part of our family, all sleeping inside unless requested to sleep outside. Happy to pick up and drop off pets for ease of holiday preparations.
