About Aimee
Hi, I'm Aimee. I'm a 40 year old Registered Nurse. I am the mum of 2 animal crazy teenage girls.
I was raised with cats since I was a baby! I am very comfortable with all kids of cats, including scared, timid and angry. I have studied Veterinary Nursing when I was younger, but moved into human nursing where I have been for nearly 20 years!
I moved to Wellington Point from Auckland, NZ last year. I brought my 4 cats with me, I had no choice, they are family! Since I moved here I have become involved with a local cat rescue and have been fostering initially kittens, and then a pregnant stray who has gone on to have 6 little babies! They are nearly 11 weeks old and soon to go to their forever homes. I also have a permanent foster boy who is disabled and is unsuitable for adoption. He came to me as a sickly little runt of the litter who was 600gms and full of ringworm. He is now a happy confident boy who doesn't let his physical limitations stop him! I also am friendly with breeders who entrust me to help care for babies especially when they need bottle feeding or extra care and attention.
I can offer your pet my experience with animals, as well as my absolute love for your pet - I can promise your pet will be loved like my own! Plus you have the addition of 2 teenage girls, one of whom is wanting to study to be a vet!
I am available 7 days per week to care for your babies and can visit up to 2x per day - morning and evening. We can talk about whether you want me to stay longer to play and cuddle, or whether you want me to simply feed and replenish water/empty litter boxes.
I am happy to give medications if required.
If you would like your dog walked, I am happy to take your lead and walk as far as your dog can handle! I am happy to go throw a ball in the dog park! I am happy to be flexible to provide the best care! The dog drinking water in my pics was a paralysed in his back legs and I took him in a trolley to the dog park so he could be with other dogs even though he couldn't participate, it was so good for his quality of life.
If you need your plants watered, mail brought in, bin put out - I am happy to do this for you!
I also have experience with dogs and guinea pigs.
