I am currently working as a doctor, on rotation to hospitals in the inner west of sydney for one year. We have done pet sitting on and off for the past few years and love animals though don't currently have pets of our own due to needing to move overseas in the coming years for work. Our own home is a one hour commute away, and given that I will only be at this hospital for one year we will not be moving homes, though thought we could do some pet sitting in the area so that sometimes we will be living closer to my work and have the opportunity to look after a pet, when we are currently unable to have our own. 

We are only looking at pet sitting in the inner west of Sydney or the city, preferably walking distance/easy commute (max 10-15min drive) to RPA hospital. We would only be looking at house sitting for 1 month or longer, and would be happy to negotiate rates for longer stays. 

My husband is a town planner, and works in the office 2-3 days/week and remotely from home the other 2 days and my work is shift work, so one of us would be at home most of the time to keep pets company. Due to the remote working, we will need to have access to reliable wifi connection.

We both love animals and would love to look after your pets and your home as if it were our own. We would be happy to do some house chores like watering plants and bringing in the mail. We both have experience looking after dogs of all sizes, especially bigger dogs. We also have some experience with birds and cats. We enjoy going on walks in the evening +/- morning and have experience dog walking. The length of the walks would depend on the dogs needs. 

I have a police certificate, working with children check and first aid certificate. I am a doctor so have a good medical understanding, not specifically with pets though I still think it is useful. I would be happy to administer medications to the pets. 

We are very particular with home security and would always ensure that all security measures available were followed.
