We live in a quiet townhouse in Phillip, within walking distance to Woden and Mawson shops and enjoy weekend walks to the cafes with our doggo friends. We both work from home 3-4 days a week so dogs are rarely left alone. Dogs generally have full run of the house and yard at all times.
We spend most of our weekends doing work around the house and going for walks around the Woden area. We have a fully enclosed yard and a dog door so dogs can come and go as they please.
We have been pet sitting through Pawshake for the last 6 years and we have loved every moment of it. We don’t currently have any pets ourselves as we have been so spoilt with our client’s pets.
To help reduce the stress of your pets being away from home we aim to treat your pets the same way you treat them at home, it would be great if you could let me know the following about your fur-baby.
- Do they spend majority of their time indoor or outdoor?
- Please describe their daily exercise needs.- Do they know any tricks (or are in the process of learning)?
- How do the react to other animals and strangers?- Are they allowed on furniture?
- What are their favourite games and toys?

Amy provided a wonderful experience for Roman for his first time with a dog sitter. He can be a bit nervous around strangers the first time he meets them but she knew exactly what to do to make him feel comfortable. Amy and Chris are exceptional sitters! They took care of our boy as if he was their own. Our boy looked so happy with them as he is a dog who loves cuddles and they were only too happy to give him that love. We received photos of him every second day which made the absence of 6 weeks easier for us. We cannot recommend them highly enough and if/when we travel again, we pray they will be available to look after our sweet boy again. Thank you so much for everything. You're amazing!
