We are a couple Michele and Rodney who have no children but instead have 2 rescue dogs, a 12 year old Bichon called Sailor and an 13 year old bitza called Sunshine. We were motivated to do pet minding when I changed from full time to part time work as we both love dogs and have both had pets since childhood. Sunshine and Sailor are now learning to be inside dogs after lives of breeding and outdoor living. They are loved and spoiled and share their time freely between inside and outside.

We live in a rental house which is medium sized with a medium yard. We provide dog boarding short or long term and doggie day care on weekdays and weekends. We will consider dogs of all types and sizes but very young, very large or very active dogs may not be suitable, due to limited space. All pets who stay with us are welcome inside and out and will sleep inside with us unless requested otherwise. Rodney works shift work and I am currently working casually, meaning that most days I can spend time with the pooches, taking them for daily walks, to the local dog park, local cafe etc. Some days though I go to work for up to 4 hours. We would love to care for your pets in our home and are quite flexible with care arrangements. We are happy to take all animals except we have no experience with exotics (we have minded rabbits b4). We offer all services including walking, feeding, medicating, pick up and drop off (within our local area).

Any other special requests will be considered. Please be aware that we accept multiple bookings at one time, so we do request that your pets be socialised, vaccinated, able to walk on a lead and toilet trained (excluding caged animals of course) if possible. Generally desexed pets are preferred. We usually don’t take young puppies for this reason. Day care spaces may be limited by my work schedule.
