My name is Daniela, I am Chilean and I am 30 years old, I arrived in Brisbane in April with the working holiday visa, I have been doing this type of visa for two years, I was in France for a year and last year in New Zealand. During these two years I have worked in hospitality but I am a Veterinarian.

I am currently looking for the opportunity to become a pet sitter, as a veterinarian and pet owner all my life, I would like to continue in the same line of work. I started my studies in 2013 and finished them in 2018, but since I was in my third year I started volunteering and working as a nurse in veterinary clinics, so I have the experience and knowledge to help you with your pets. During my career in Chile I was dedicated to the primary care of pets, with more than 8 years of experience, focused on education and responsible pet ownership. 

Also in France, I helped with the care of a puppy that lived in my lodging, basic care such as feeding, cleaning and walks. Then I took care of a kitten in exchange for lodging, where I lived with him for 8 months, being responsible for all his care.

Being an animal caretaker or working with animals is part of my life and it is what motivates me to continue in this field. I believe I am the right person to take care of pets, giving them the love and care they need. I have the necessary skills for this field, such as animal handling, knowledge of medicine, general pet care, patience and responsibility. 

I currently live in Kelvin Grove but can offer my pet sitting services all over Brisbane, I can easily get around the city either by public transport or on my bike. I can offer pet sitter service at the pet/owner's home, either as home visits or house sitting for 24 hrs. Also as a pet walker. 

My availability is complete, mornings, afternoons or evenings, as I only have casual jobs that change weekly. Depending on your needs and those of the pets we can reach an agreement, since I have no problem, for example, to make short or long daily visits, or to stay more than 24 hours with the pet, etc. I am able to perform certain procedures, if the conditions are right, for example, if your pet needs the administration of any medicine or special care. I can also do other types of activities if you need, for example, watering or general plant care, house cleaning, shopping, etc.

In the case of walks, the duration may depend on the needs of your pet. if it is a very energetic breed we can do a long walk or if it is an older breed or one that tires easily, we can opt for short walks or other types of distractions. The rides can be done in the vicinity of your home or if you have certain preferences we can also arrange it in advance.
