My name is Lucy, I am 28 years old and have come over to Australia on a working holiday visa from the UK.

I have always loved and cared about animals which is what led me to persue and obtain a first class degree in Veterinary Nursing with Applied Animal Behaviour. I have then gone on to work as a qualified UK RCVS registered veterinary nurse for the last four years, therefore building up lots of experience in animal care. Even though my job may sound quite clinical I can assure you that a massive part of it is providing my patients with comfort and getting to know them as individuals in order to provide the best level of care and I have carried this over into my experience in house and pet sitting. I understand that just like us humans, each pet has their own personality and I make an effort to get to know each one. Furthermore, I am confident in giving medications and caring for animals with conditions as this is a regular part of my job.

Whilst in the past I have only house/pet sat dogs and cats, due to my job I am also confident in taking care of smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters as I reguarly care for them as patients.
