I offer home visits, dog walks and home-sits.

I’m an animal lover, I grew up with 3 dogs, but am not settled down enough to have my own yet. So I love being a pet aunt and have been pet sitting for around 5 years. I’m experienced with older and sick pets, and have done vet visits and medication, as well as young boisterous pups who need more walks and stimulation. I love a pet snuggle! But equally if yours is a little more independent or timid, I’ll respect the warming up process :)

To me, a home is a haven, so I’m super clean and tidy, and will treat your home with the utmost respect!

HOME VISITS AND DOG WALKING:

My availability is generally early morning and nights after work. I can feed your pet, walk dogs (half an hour to 45 mins usually), get the mail in, water plants and any other tasks that might be required. I am experienced in administering medication, with the exception of delivering injections.

I will generally stay an hour depending on what you require. I'll only accept drop in's for the suburb I'm in.

Dog walks are anywhere from 25-45 minutes depending on the needs or limitations of the dog. I'll always act as advised, so if you have a park you would normally take them to or if they like a particular circuit, that's where I'll go. I'm very cautious of off-lead areas until I'm very familiar with your dog, and they're familiar with me.

HOME SITTING:

I prioritize longer pet sits, as it allows us to be in more of a routine, but am happy to consider shorter sits, especially with repeat clients (and I always love caring for pet friends again - nothing makes me happier than when your dog races to see me or cat comes over for head scratches when they recognise me!)

I'm unable to take live-in sits that are further than 30 mins from the city, and generally only service the eastern, north east and south east suburbs. Any further out and my travel gets too crazy.

I work from home part time in admin, and take casual retail and promo shifts, so while there may be days I'm away 8-9 hours, it's usual that it's only 4-5 hours at a time. I keep a routine of being able to walk dogs in the morning and at night. And feed on a morning/night schedule also. On long term sits, I'll make sure to wash dogs as required. I am experienced in administering medication, with the exception of delivering injections.

I'll of course keep the house immaculate, and water plants, collect mail and tend to all the household things that come up.

I don't invite friends around, if possible I'll park in the driveway for the visual cue that people are home, and I have a strong system for locking up as I leave. Your house security is of utmost importance!

I’m part of a network of Melbourne pet sitters, so if anything comes up that I’m unsure about, there is always support from others with experience. I’ll send you lots of pics while you’re away, as I know you’ll be missing your fur children, and send lots of updates!
