Hi all! I'm a down to earth kiwi who has been in Australia about 13 years and who loves all animals. I'm the kind of person who can't help going up to pat the goats and so forth at children's fairs and stops to see if the dog in the park would like a pat.
I grew up with dogs and a cat - poodles and a German shepherd...all who lived until a ripe old age. I used to take Gus, the German shepherd to the dog park and he'd run into the river, chuck a tennis ball around and have a grand old time. I'd take my poodle too, but would have to carry her by the end as she'd become too tired. Right now I have a rescue kitten...full of sass and who brings me joy every day (and every now and again a few surprises from outside!).
I'm an on-the-go type of person and I work in the disability field. I was a support worker and entered into many peoples homes helping with day to day tasks as per the persons needs such as cooking, cleaning, personal care and with getting people out and about in the community. I'm still in the industry, in a slightly different role, but ensuring the above all still applies in peoples homes.
In the same way, I'll ensure that your home is respected, that your pets needs are all cared for, they're fed, toileted and all cleaned up, they're walked if this happens, entertained, kept healthy and happy.
I've had 3 covid vaccines and have a working with children check, police check and and NDIS workers check.
I can do pet visits, doggy day care and dog walking (depending on the size of the dog). I have just had a baby in November so unfortunately can no longer do house-sits.
