EXPERIENCED DOG MINDER

Formerly a dog groomer and dog minder with over 6 years of experience, I am now focusing on both mine and the dog’s favourite part, DOG MINDING, with the option of a wash and fluff dry or deshed for those who need it during their stay. 

Having moved from Melbourne to Adelaide mid 2022, I’m now finally set up to provide a wonderful, safe, secure home away from home, for people who have to go away and don’t want to leave their pooches at kennels. Your pooch becomes a part of my family while you are away. Yes, this means they have full access to any comfortable place in the house, like couches and beds. 

My training philosophy is of the force free, fear free mindset whereby your pooch is only encouraged with positive reinforcement, and any undesirable behaviours are redirected knowing that dogs are always willing
to please, when secure attachments are established. 

I have a 5 year old Standard Poodle, Hunter and a 2 year old cat, Phoebe. Hunter adores small dogs and has a healthy respect for the fact he is much bigger than them. He gives them lots of space, especially if they are scared and gently invites them to play with a play bow. I am experienced in recognising healthy play, with equal chase and be chased, and relaxed wiggly bodies. Hunter does not like large, young, high-energy dogs so unfortunately not all breeds are suitable for our home. Your dog must also be cat friendly. 

All pets must be vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. I am insured, police checked and working with children checked.

I will update you with regular photos and videos while you are away from your pet, as I enjoy their adventures and antics and love sharing them with you.
