Hello! My name is Sarah, and I am a medical student at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. I am originally from New York and have been missing my doggo at home in the states. My dog Maya is a golden retriever x Siberian husky mix breed, and she has been such a source of joy for my family since we brought her home in 2020. We have a wonderful pet sitter back home who looks after Maya when we're on holiday, and I have always appreciated her care. I would love to help take care of some pups down under while I'm here too!

I am young, active, and have a flexible schedule with many of my classes being online and studying done at my apartment. I live alone in a 1-bedroom unit, so there would be no issues with roommates and more than enough space for a dog to roam. I am used to walking my dog 3x a day plus trips to the park a few times a week, so I can certainly keep up with an athletic breed. My dog Maya is 45 kg, so I am comfortable with dogs of any size as well as most breeds (depending on their disposition).
