About Britt
Hi, I'm Britt! I've grown up with cats, having them as part of my family while living with my parents for many years. I had quite some family and friends with a dog, so I'm also very good with dogs. Before moving to Australia, I had cats for 1.5 years, who are now staying with our former housemates. In Australia, I've frequently cared for a friend's dog and recently started working as a professional dog sitter. I work from home half of the week, which means I'm around to provide attention and care to your pets during the day. My partner works works from home full-time, so your pets will have always have someone around to keep them company. I really like having animals around and to help other people providing a nice place for their pets to have a good time while they're away. I look forward to caring for your furry friends!
I offer daycare and overnight stays for dogs and cats, but I'm also happy to do ho housesitting, (multiple) housevisits or dogwalking (up to 3 times a day). My dogwalks will be 30-45 min and I can take the dog(s) to the beach. I can board 3 dogs at the same time. Since me or my partner will be working form home we can assure that your pet won't be left alone at home for more than 30 min (daycare) or 2 hours (overnight stays). When working from home we make sure that one of us is in the same room as the pet, so we can keep an eye on them at all times. We both like the company of a pet while working or being at home and like to be active and enjoy dogwalks around the block or to the beach.
We live as a couple with 2 other housemates, they also both really like pets and grew up with them. Pets are welcome to walk around the house and garden, but we prefer to keep them downstairs and not in our bedrooms (we can just keep the doors closed, so that won't give any problem). They can sleep anywhere they want, including on the couch or chairs. Our backyard is medium size, fully fenced with some concrete parts, gravel beds and flower beds, great for pets to go outside apart from the walks. As we don't have any pets ourselves, we would recommend bringing their own bed (if they prefer sleeping there), toys, food and foodbowls.
