Hi fellow dog-lover!

I am a certified Therapy Dog Handler and volunteer my time (with my dog Pippa) with Delta Therapy Dogs. I also have 27+ years experience volunteering with the RSPCA in multiple roles, including dog training/behaviour. I love ALL dogs - big, small, three-legged, sloppy droolers... you name it and I'm a fan :). I also believe there are no bad dogs, just bad training.

I'm opening the doors of my home to puppers who need a home away from home. That could be just during the day while their humans are at work, overnight* if something happens to take humans away or several nights* if humans are holidaying somewhere not dog-friendly. Your dog is welcome to join in my family's routine (it's myself, my 8yo daughter and my four (yes, 4!) cocker spaniels) for whatever hours they need to be here. Please message me if you have any specific questions about how we operate here. With four dogs, as you can imagine, we are very dog-centric, and work around a schedule best suited to a happy and healthy dog's life. Having said that, if your dog has any specific scheduling requirements (e.g. puppy/senior nap-time, medication etc), we will of course work around that too. I no longer work in the office so am home almost full-time, so in addition to my multiple four-legged family members your dog will always have some company.
*overnight stays are required to take place contained - in either a crate or expen - unless fully house/toilet trained (my dogs are all crate trained for sleeping).

At my home all dogs have indoor/outdoor access, to be and go where they please. If they are a follow-you-to-the-toilet kind of velcro dog (if you have one of these little shadows, you know exactly what I mean - forget about shutting the bathroom door!) they are welcome in my home, but equally, if they are a just-want-to-run-all-day in the backyard and sleep alone in the sunshine kind of independant pupper, my home welcomes them also :).

Behaviour modification/training can be requested as an add-on to your dog-sitting service - please contact me directly with your desired training addition for feasibility (not all behaviours can be trained in this away-from-own-home-and-humans environment) and pricing. Basic grooming services can also be added on, including nail trim (who doesn't hate doing that?!), paw pad clip, hygeine clip, brush and mat removal. So if you want your dog to learn to high five and have their nails trimmed while spending a comfy day full of love, pats, games and companionship then look no further! I'm your gal :).

The health and happiness of all dogs is my first priority, so before we commence a booking a doggy meet-and-greet must take place, to ensure all dogs are going to enjoy each other's company.
