My husband, Laurie and I are retired, and both fit and healthy and have plenty of time to take exceptional care of pet dogs like we would our own, including long walks in the local parks and the beach, ball chasing, playing and cuddles. We have owned six dogs during our lives, and couldn't imagine life without one.

We have an ageing Border Collie, Beau, with health issues and tires easily during very short walks. He likes other dogs but no longer has the energy to play with them.

Beau has always slept outside, however the layout of our home allows seperate areas, including a choice of inside and outside locations with access to the front and rear outdoor area. SEE IMAGES.

Unfortunately we cannot accept pets who sleep in the same bed as their owners or used to sleeping on furnishings.

Our home has a very large fully fenced yard.

All of our pets have been a real part of our lives in many ways, including travelling with us by car when taking holidays, daily walks, trips to the beach, ball games, grooming and constant expressions of love.

Our daughter and her family have regular holidays and have always taken care of their dogs at our home whenever they are away.

We prefer to lookafter vacinated pets but may consider unvacinated ones in certain circumstances.

We are real animal lovers, but prefer medium to large dogs to play with.
