Welcome to our cozy, dog-loving home in Thorneside, where your furry friend will feel like part of the family. We’re a caring mother-and-son team, joined by our playful 8-month-old Toy Cavoodle, Teddy, who can’t wait to make a new friend! Our home is nestled in Brisbane's Bayside, surrounded by parks, waterfront walking trails, and a dog-friendly café—perfect for daily adventures.

Why choose us for Doggy Day Care and/or Boarding?
With us, your pup will enjoy plenty of playtime with our friendly Toy Cavoodle, Teddy, a secure backyard for safe outdoor fun, and daily walks to keep them active. Plus, since I work from home, I’m around to give them the attention and care they need throughout the day. 

Doggy day care is limited to two dogs per day (three total inlcuding my dog Teddy)

Our daily drop-off time is between 6am and 7am, with pick-up between 4pm-6pm, (check calendar for availability) and I ensure your dog enjoys one energising walk during the day along with my dog Ted. Our backyard is fully fenced and opens up onto expansive playing fields, just a short stroll to an off-leash dog park by the water—so every day is full of fun and exercise!

If your pup is staying with us over the weekends, we spend time at the park, going for picnics and walks, we love being by the water so reguarly go to Manly Foreshore, Redcliffe, Hamilton and Nudgee. 

While your dog stays with us for both Doggy Day Care and/or Boarding, they’ll enjoy:

• Daily walks, playtime, and cuddles galore.
• A quiet, fenced yard with access to a shaded entertainment area.
• A cozy kitchen space for overnight stays, equipped with a fan in summer or a heater in winter, and baby gates for safety.
• Plenty of love and companionship from our playful 8-month-old Toy Cavoodle Teddy and cuddles from my soccer-enthusiast 11-year-old son.
• I have a paddling pool available for them to cool off in the garden, and access to an air-conditioned home.
• Break times to rest

Whether you’re booking for a day or an overnight stay, we can’t wait to welcome small to medium-sized pups who are fully vaccinated, wormed, non-destructive, and friendly with other dogs. 

What you’ll need to bring:

• Your dog’s food and treats (so there are no tummy upsets)
• Their lead and collar
• Their bed or crate if they prefer their own cozy space
• Any toys they love

INFORMATION FOR DOGS STAYING IN OUR HOME:

We can only take fully vaccinated and wormed small to medium dogs into our home.  

I live with my 11 year old son, we have an 8-month-old Toy Cavoodle Teddy who is neutered, fully vaccinated and crate trained. I am a single mother in my mid 30s. We currently do have a pet in our home full time and will care for one (or multiple from the same home) small to medium sized dogs at a time. 

We welcome friendly, fully vaccinated and wormed dogs, that love cuddles, playing, who are toilet trained, walk well on a leash and are friendly with other dogs while out and about.

We live in a townhouse in a quiet surburban complex, have a fully-fenced back yard with covered entertainment area. The kitchen has a doggy door so your pets will always have access to the garden and the kitchen, they will love laying on the cool tiles!

You will get photo updates during the day.

STAYING OVERNIGHT:

Your dog will sleep in our kitchen (see photo) with the fan on in summer and a heater in winter. There will be a baby gate placed across the doorway, so they cannot access the lounge room or venture upstairs at night.

If you would prefer your dog to sleep in their crate, we can accommodate this. Teddy sleeps in his own crate.

WHEN I AM OUT OF THE HOUSE FOR SHORT PERIODS:

Your dog will have access to the back yard and the kitchen, via a doggy door (medium size). There is an outdoor kennel provided, or they can bring their own outdoor bed. There will be a baby gate placed across the doorway, so they cannot access the lounge room or venture upstairs.

There will be a fan provided, I leave a radio on and there is a security camera to check up on them, if I am at a meeting during the day.

I WFH but there are still activites such as school drop off/pick up I need to do, so I cannot care for dogs that bark and suffer from separation anxiety as it puts me at risk of noise complaints from my neighbours.

WHEN I AM HOME:

I WFH, so will be at home for the majority of the day. I will be at my desk in the lounge room. Your dog will have access to the lounge room, fully-fenced back yard and covered entertainment area along with my dog Teddy. 

I am happy for them to have cuddles with us on the lounge if that's what you do at your own home. I can place their bed in the kitchen or lounge room too, so your pet is with us.
