I am passionate about pets and animal welfare and am keen on offering primarily dog sitting, but also cat and bird sitting. Currently I have time available to do so and hope to find some buddies to care for. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for friends, acquaintances and volunteering over the years. I am familiar with providing pets with food/water, administering medication, cleaning out litter boxes, cages, exercising pets as needed, and taking dogs out for regular walks. My own dogs (Dachshund and Australian Shepherd) I had from puppy age onwards, hence I am experienced through the dog’s life cycle. Especially with my Australian Shepherd I engaged in dog training and dog activities (obedience, man trailing, agility). 

Other than dogs, I have had cats and budgerigars as pets. In the past, I volunteered as a dog walker at a dog shelter and for the recent 3 years I have been a volunteer at the RSCPA Wacol/Qld, working at the Wildlife Hospital and in the Adoption Team which provides me with lots of insight into animal care in general.

Occasionally, I am still working part-time in the health sector, but would love to dedicate more time to pet care, especially dog sitting and share my own experience as pet owner. Your animals will be well cared for with me as I treat them like I would treat my own. It would be great to meet you and your pet(s)!
