Hi there. I'm a 36 year old doctor living in currumbin with my girlfriend's dog Teddy (4 year old cavoodle). I moved here from London about 5.5 years ago and absolutely love dogs to the point that I am first in the list when people at work need someone to mind their dogs when they go on holiday. I never had dogs growing up which is probably a large part of the reason that I love dogs but have had plenty of experience fostering and dog sitting for friends and family. I have previously fostered two dogs for 8 weeks each via precious paws rescue and both were eventually adopted to their furever homes. Although sad to see them go it was a great rewarding experience.
We have a small outdoor spaces for them to take wee breaks but no garden sadly. We do have lots of nearby beaches and dog parks where I will take them for the walks. Unfortunately due to my shift work I may be out at work for over 10 hours but I will always ensure your dog is taken for a long walk either before or after my shift. The dog would sleep inside and on the bed if that is what they are used to : )
I am more than happy to look after your dogs for any amount of time that you need. Whatever you require I will try and accommodate! I can board maximum one dog at any time and the length of walks I can offer are 1-3 hours. Teddy can be a bit of a grump sometimes with other dogs so we'd only really be able to accommodate other small to medium sized dogs and ideally chilled / older as he gets a bit angry with other dogs who get in his face for too long : )
Thanks for reading my profile and I hope to hear from you soon.
