Before you read any further, I only take small dogs, 2+ years. They have to fit through the doggie-door and be toilet trained!

I am a mature woman with a passion for dogs since owning my little Griffn, featured in the photo. He's the only dog I've had and we were together for 10 years. He passed last June and I'm very keen to welcome back some fluffy friends into my life, but as I'm possibly going overseas next year, only for a month or two,I thought now might be an opportunity to offer myself as a dog-sitter and dog-walker. I recently sat two dogs over a weekend and missed them when they went home!!

I live in a detached house with a lovely, green, fully-fenced back yard and a doggy door for access. I don't mind dogs on furniture and happy for them to sleep on my bed if they want. The size of the doggy door indicates I can only take small dogs. 

I work from home a couple of days a week and volunteer at a local cattery for one afternoon a week, away for under 4 hours. Aside from that, I'm only out for the usual shopping and gym visits. I enjoy spending time at home and would love to have a little one with me. This leaves me plenty of gaps in the days for dog-walking and entertaining over-nighters and therefore my availability is reasonably flexible.

I currently live alone with no other animals in the house.
