Hi, I'm Denise and I offer pet and house sitting in your home - short or long term for small dogs who would prefer to stay in their own home. Happy to look after cats and other small animals.
Your pet will get awesome individual care and attention and your home will be securely looked after while you're away. My reviews are from past clients who boarded their dogs at my home, but my circumstances have changed for the short-term, so now I house/pet sit in your home.
I've grown up with dogs and had my own gorgeous Labrador for 13yrs. Abby was my soul dog and a big part of my family, as all pets in my life have been. I have always trained them well and they know their boundaries....and they are loved!
My Abby got her wings in December 2020 and I won't be adopting another furbaby, for a few different reasons. I love looking after other people's pets, as I treat them as my own and I get to enjoy doggy company for a little while.
I'm loving meeting different breeds and personalities. I love it even more when they see their Auntie Denise ...... nothing beats a dog happy to see me again :-)
I'm a photographer, so I don't have the traditional 9 to 5. Your pet will be with me a lot and will receive great care and personal attention.
Our Meet and Greet is a great opportunity to see if we will be a good fit for each other. I prefer dogs not to have known aggression issues and be balanced and social with other dogs when we are out and about, but I'm happy with a home body as well, due to age or reactive issues.
I will maintain your pets routine and food schedule and I'm ok with chopping and cooking their food. I can administer whatever meds they're taking and I'm very inventive when giving medication in food, if they're not a fan of a pill straight down their throat.
Daily walks are a part of my stay, Dog Weather permitting. Happy to discuss and assess your dog's exercise needs and see if we are suited. I won't be the best sitter for extremely high energy or strong willed dogs who need long daily hikes.

It would be fair to say that Denise truly exceeded our expectations looking after our fur baby Piper while we were on our overseas Holiday.
We did meet and greets beforehand giving us the confidence that we could trust that Denise would be the perfect choice to look after our fur baby and that she had a comfortable and safe environment to stay.
As this was the first time that we had left Piper for such a long duration we needed to be assured that Denise would love and care for Piper as much as we do. We had regular photos and updates which was very reassuring and it was obvious that she was being cared for and loved.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Denise to look after your beloved pet and you can be assured that they will have the best care possible.
Knowing that our dog Piper was being so well cared for allowed us to enjoy our holiday with the confidence that Piper was being well cared for and loved.
We messaged Denise to ask if she would be willing to meet our Kodak who comes with her challenges. Denise was able to sit her while I went to Bali and i'm grateful to have had the break! Kodak stayed for a week and was well looked after. Thanks again for having her!!
