Hey there! I’m Amelia, a 29 y/o experienced animal lover who would love the pleasure of looking after your fur child/ren :-) I moved to Melbourne at the end of last year with my cat Lulu.

My experience

I absolutely adore animals and have 6 years of experience as a pet sitter and SPCA NZ volunteer. I've been fortunate to grow up with animals and am a proud cat Mum to Lulu, a 9-year-old rescue tabby who made the move over to Australia with me. 

My volunteer experience at the SPCA was within the vet care section, so I have plenty of experience looking after sick animals—mostly cats, dogs, and rabbits. If your cat needs medication, that's no problem! I have pilled many cats from my spca days, as well as giving insulin injections. Lulu receives pills every day, and has previously had a feeding tube placed in her oesophagus following a life threatening pancreatitis episode.

When it comes to your doggo's size and breed, I don't discriminate! I have experience with large pups that are strong pullers, through to sassy chihuahuas.

Services I can provide

• Cat sitting: I will come to your home and look after your cat/s while you're away. They will get lots of TLC - cuddles, and playtime in addition to being fed, litter refreshed, etc. I am also happy to water any plants, take in mail, etc. I am very attentive to any changes in eating, toileting or their demeanour, and will quickly raise any concerns with you. My visit durations are 30-60 mins.

• Dog walking: Walk length will vary depending on your dog but my walks are typically 30-45 minutes in duration. Location, temperature, and your dog's breed are taken into account when walking on warmer days.
• Dog sitting: I would love to look after your pooch for a few hours at your place and walk/feed/play with them.

Note: As I have a cat of my own, I am unable to do overnight stays.

Transport and proximity

I do not have a car and rely on my bike and public transport to get around. Because of this, I only accept bookings within approx 7km/20 min cycling distance from my home in Brunswick, or 30 mins on PT.

I'm currently in between jobs so have full availability.
