I are very passionate about animals, I no longer have pets of my own sadly, I have been a pet sitter for over four years with Pawshake and it is the most enjoyable rewarding experience,I do ask owners for a much information as possible about their pets it gives me a better understanding of things they do or don't do.

I work part time, 5 mins from home , I don’t have children. I'm in my late 50s.I live in a three bedroom townhouse with stairs and have a small back paved courtyard area that is very secure and have access from my back gate onto a beautiful park, with fantastic walking areas around the neighbourhood.

I love taking dogs for walks , never off leash and I avoid contact with other dogs whilst walking , I understand every dog has different needs . I treat animals in my care as if they are my own and try to stick to their same routine that they have at home.I feel very lonely having no animals around, hence why I got involved with this company , but do not want the commitment of a animal full time as I would like to travel when possible .I also organise meet and greets with the dogs and owner so I can meet your pet and to see if my premises is suitable, if I have a crossover with bookings with dogs from different families I get them to meet before any booking begins.

I am very fortunate that I get to spend a lot of time with the dogs I care for and getting to know their personalities, over the years I have had so many different breeds of dogs, all of them have been a joy to care for , knowing that they are happy , loved and content in my care gives me so much pleasure.
