ABOUT ME

I have loved and owned animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with cats and dogs all my life. I was like the Zookeeper in the family. I loved spending time with them, grooming them, playing with them, making sure they were clean and well fed and just being with them. I previously volunteered at the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home and am an active member of the NSW Animal Justice Party.

As an adult I have raised 2 kittens into adults, one with an extroverted and another one with an introverted personality, and have experienced the ageing process in both cats and dogs, knowing how to love and look after them during this very difficult time. We lost our beloved cat Sidney in March 2022, who we had for 14.5 wonderful years and still miss every day.

I currently have a ragdoll cat called Peppa, she is 14, a little quirky and introverted and extremely loving and loyal. My 12 year old daughter and I call her Ms Peppa because she is a little sassy and sweet, and we love spoiling her with all our love and attention. She loves playing ball with scrunched up baking paper and curling up beside us on the floor, couch or on our beds. She is very much like a dog and likes to be with us all the time.

I wanted to become a pet sitter to help my daughter learn the value of money and the importance of doing something you love. We both love animals so pet sitting together was a natural option. My daughter is very understanding of animal behaviour, having grown up with cats, dogs and birds all her life, and knows how to nurture and attend to animals who are going through the ageing process, are friendly or a bit scared of new people.

As an animal owner, I understand how difficult it is to leave your pet whilst you are away so please rest assured that your pet will always be in the hands of a loving and responsible person, who will pick up on and attend to their every need, as if they were my own babies.

ABOUT MY PET SERVICES AT YOUR HOME

Availability

• Weekends (Sat-Sun) | 1 or 2 visits per day
• Public Holidays | 1 or 2 visits per day (due to demand, price may vary)

Home visits 

Cats | Includes feeding, water change, litter clean, grooming/play time and lots of pats (depending on personality of cat).

Dogs | Includes feeding, water change, poop pickup and playtime (NO WALKING)

Birds | Includes feeding, water change, cage clean.

Rabbits/ Guinea pigs | Feeding, water change, cage clean.

Fish and other reptiles | Feeding.

Other animals not listed | please get in touch.

Medicines, etc.

Able to administer flea treatments and oral medicines

Meet and Greet

Via zoom to discuss your pets needs, routine to follow whilst you're away, and where keys will be left for pickup on the day of the booking. Keys will be returned to you after the booking has been completed to the location it was taken from or as arranged.

Instructions whilst you are away

This will be discussed during the meet and greet but please feel free to leave a copy of any instructions in your kitchen area.

Updates whilst you are away

Some clients enjoy receiving daily updates, photos and videos and some prefer to have time out knowing their pet is in good hands. Whichever you prefer, I am happy to accommodate.

Keys

Please leave your keys in a key safe or somewhere safe for my collection and let me know before you leave.
