We are a family of four plus nine chickens and a snake Miss Hiss Hiss.

We are motivated to care for SMALL PETS on a SHORT TERM basis as we love animals but we also have to travel internationally to see family. Therefore, we don’t want to permanently own anymore animals than we have. We recognise it can be difficult to find care for pets when owners have to travel so we are offering our services.

Our children have a passion for animals and my daughter in particular longs for a cat hence the idea to join Pawshake. I grew up with cats, rabbits, frogs, fish and lizards as pets as my mother was an animal lover. My partner is a dog lover and grew up with a range of small dogs. We cared for a friends small dog for six months when he moved to NZ.

We are excited to meet your CAT OR SMALL ANIMAL and it will be provided with lots of attention. Please be aware we have two children 6 plus 9 years so if your cat doesn’t like children we wont be a good fit. We only want VACCINATED animals in the home thank you. We would like TOILET TRAINED cats as we will be hosting in our own home inside.
