About Me & Our Home

My name is Eliza and I live with my partner Ben and our 3-year-old Kelpie named Rusty. We have a backyard area which Rusty enjoys when he is not sleeping on the couch or our bed! The backyard is fully fenced off and secure. Please refer to my gallery for photos of our backyard. 

We live a very active lifestyle with Rusty. We walk Rusty twice daily for roughly 45 minutes - 1 hour, either at the park or for a walk around the street. We are passionate about dog training and believe in setting your dog up for success and ensuring they enjoy themselves in a safe environment. 

I have always grown up with dogs, in particular keplies and cocker spaniels so I understand what it takes to responsibly care for dogs and ensure their needs are being met. I work from home 2-3 days a week, so I am also keen to care for your pets during a workday as well (Thursday & Friday). 

We are motivated to be pet sitters because we love dogs and would love to adopt a second dog one day in the future however, in the meantime, we feel that dog sitting is the perfect fit for us!

About my services

Doggy Day Care

  • I offer Doggy Day Care on Thursdays and Fridays where I can look after your pet at my house for the day. I work from home on these days so I will be around all day to play with and care for your pet. You can be assured that your dog will receive a lot of affection and love and that I will be around. If I ever need to leave the house on these days, it is never for more than an hour. 

  • Your dog will be inside with me unless of course, it is your preference for them to remain outside. 

  • Outside we have undercover options for your dog to stay so that they are protected from the elements e.g. rain. 

    • Dog Boarding

    • I offer Doggy Boarding where your pet will stay overnight at my house. I will feed your pet and take care of any other needs that your pet may require. e.g. medication.

    • I will typically only board one dog at a time as we already have Rusty in our home but please reach out to me to discuss this further.

    • I will also look after your pet for an extended period of time if you are away e.g. holidays. Please reach out to me and we can discuss this further. 

      • Dog Walking

      • I offer Dog Walking for 30 minutes. I will pick up your dog from your home (depending upon where you live e.g. within a reasonable location to Richmond) and walk them for 30 minutes. I will let your dog explore and sniff as they desire so that your dog is mentally stimulated and has their needs met.

      • If your dog requires 2 x 30-minute walks per day, please reach out to me to discuss this further and I will do my best to accommodate you. 

      • I will listen to your specific instructions for walks e.g. if your dog has behavioural concerns and you do not want them to interact with other dogs/people. 

      • I walk typically in the morning between 7am - 9am and in the afternoon between 5:30pm - 7:30pm. 

        • One home visit a day

        • I offer One home visit a day for 30 minutes if you are away and unable to see your pet.

        • I will listen to your specific instructions on what you would like me to do on a home visit e.g. feed your pet, play with your pet, give them medication. 

        • I can also water your plants and bring in mail for you. 

          • Behavioural concerns

          • I have experience working with dogs with behavioural concerns e.g. reactivity, anxiety, nervousness. 

          • If your dog has behavioural concerns, I am more than happy to talk to you about this further and to help in any way that I can.
