A little about me

Government consultant by day, (self-proclaimed) cooking wizard by night, animal lover 24/7.

I've been very lucky to grow up with animals all my life- dogs, cats, fish and birds to name a few. At this point, it's hard to imagine a future without them. I have three beautiful kitties of my own, temporarily living with my parents, who I'd go as far as calling my (fur) kids. They mean the absolute world to me, and I know I'd do anything for them. That is why I completely emphathise with anyone seeking to secure the best care for their own pets in their absence. I would expect, and accept, no less for my own. 

For the purposes of being completely transparent, whilst I adore all types of animals, I am team cat before anything else. Cats have a particularly special place in my heart, as the ones I grew up with helped me get through some very difficult times in my life. That’s not to say I won’t smother your beautiful dog, bunny, etc. with affection if an arrangement is agreed upon, but if given competing offers, please don’t be offended if I opt for the meow monster!

An overview of my services

• Home Visits (Approx 30mins-1hour): For each home visit, I will feed and fill water bowls daily for each pet. Plenty of playtime, cuddles and brushes will be provided as well if your pet is open to it. If required, I will also clean the litter or pick up doggy doo in the yard. Daily updates (including pictures, videos) can be supplied if desired, and if you are away for more than 3 days, I am also happy to conduct short video calls (please don't feel silly to request it... I've done it for my own kitties).
• Dog Walking (Approx 40mins): While a standard time is given, this will be agreed upon with you in advance, considerate of the dog's age and health. I'm also happy to make the walk a run instead, as I work on training up for a marathon. Please note all equipment must be supplied, such as a leash/harness, collar, poo bags, etc.
• House Sitting: Where possible, my goal is to keep to your pet's normal routine as much as possible. However, if they are the adventurous type, happy to discuss how they might be able to join me in my planned activities (indoors and outdoors). I'm also able to help out with basic house tasks, such as bringing in the mail, watering your plants and/or taking out the bins. If you are away for an extended period of time, I may request that my partner be allowed to stay over for some of the nights. If requesting this service, my preference is to always have a meet-and-greet prior to accepting. I've never come across an animal who did not take to me, but I don't want to be presumptuous. My first priority is their well-being.
