About Ken
My name is Ken and I am 67 this August. I have had puppies and kittens all my life. We have five grown up children.
We have walked our pups at Canadian Bay Beach now for 20 years and know everyone's name (the dogs that it.... and some of their owner's names too). My best beach 'feat' is teaching Freddie a little Black Staffordshire to swim with my labs. Jilly the next door 'Lassie' dog would jump the fence and come with us to Mt Eliza beach every day. A spaniel called Bobby would see me and literally sprint from one end of the beach to the other to be with me.
Pups love me and I love them.
Our burmese Bonnie sits on my lap and watches tv. She engages like no other cat my wife Susan and I have had.
I work from home and like walking twice a day; having a pup or two beside me preferably. I can take them down the beach. I have a strong throwing arm and will retrieve the ball in the coldest water... if your doggie doesn't get there first.
Susan my wife is an artist and paints pets. Brilliantly.
Our current pups Belle and Leo sleep in the tv room inside. There is also kennel and a lovely lie-down elevated mat which Leo likes to use.
When walking my dogs I like to walk them for a minimum of 40 minutes in summer-autumn.
