We are a family of 5 - Dad, Mum, son and daughter with our 4yr old Toy Cavoodle Rookie. We have been pet-sitting for friends and we enjoy it a lot! Rookie is also happiest when he has a friend to play with. My husband is a stay-at-home Dad so there's always someone looking after the dogs, except for school drop off or pick up which is maximum 1 hour during weekdays. On weekends, there is someone with the dogs 24/7. I work full time, working from home 2 to 3 days every week. Our 2 kids go to school but when they get home, they look forward to playing with the dogs and caring for them too. We only welcome small dogs up to 5kg in weight, maximum of 2 guests at a time. We live across a park so it's convenient to walk the dogs during the day. We can offer long or short walks, once or twice a day depending on your suggested routine. Our goal is to keep the routine much the same as yours, so that there is very minimal or no adjustment either way - when they leave and when they come back to you. We also have a fully fenced backyard to run around and play in. We can give them a bath if needed; train them as you would instruct. For feeding, we understand how dog tummies can be sensitive so we will strictly follow your instructions and only give them what you provide. We will separate the dogs during feeding time to make sure they can focus without any distraction. For sleeping, the dogs can sleep together or apart depending on your preference and also based on what we believe is good and safe for them. Rookie sleeps in the clean & spacious laundry room most of the time, or occasionally in the spare room upstairs some weekends. We are here to offer a 2nd home for your furbaby, allowing you peace of mind while you are away while your beloved dog is also having fun in a safe and caring environment.
