Hi there! My name is Maxine I am 28 years of age and I have a 5-year-old Kelpie cross. We spend most of our free time going on hikes/camping and exploring what Victoria has to offer. I am a friendly, polite and down to earth person who will treat everyone with the same respect. I’ve been an animal lover and animal enthusiast for as long as I can remember. They are a large part of my life and are a major passion of mine. I enjoy working with them in any manner I can including minding or walking your furry friend(/s) while you are away. I will ask if you would like me to send you regular updates of your pet while you are away for your peace of mind during our initial meet and greet. I have experience in mild dog training and lots of animal sitting (from all shapes, sizes and species).  

I currently offer home visits 1- 2 times a day and dog walking. I am located in Mentone and can travel to most south eastern suburbs to visit you and your furry friend (/s). I am currently employed at a nursery accompanied by university classes at various times, so please reach out and we can see what we can arrange.

DOG WALKING: all my walks usually last between 30-60 mins but I understand every dog is different and I am happy to cater to their individual needs if required. If your dog has a regular routine, i.e. a particular park with furry friends/or route I will endeavour to provide them with as much routine as possible. We can spend this time on a route walk or down at their local park playing and getting a good run in.  

HOUSE VISITS: if you are looking for house visiting services look no further. I spend a decent amount of time with your furry friend on your requested days/times. I have previously spent the visits emptying litter trays/picking up dog poo/playing with your pets/cuddles and attention/grooming/administering medication/vacuuming/taking out bins (rubbish)/bringing in mail/feeding/and topping up water. I understand every animal is different, i.e. some being on the shy side. But I will always endeavour to get to know your pet and their individual needs. Whether it be a special diet or a required medication I aim to help and make things easy while you are away. 

I have often heard people say to me about their dogs or cats or any form of animal, “oh he/she is not like that with other people, or isn’t as friendly with strangers” but I am always calm and show my love and they always seem to return it in more ways than one.
