About Kate

I have 2.5 years' experience petsitting across Sydney on other platforms and have now settled in the heart of Parramatta. I'm available to stay in your home across Sydney or, if you live near Parramatta, I can housesit, walk your dog and/or do home visits and/or provide pet day care in your home. I'm flexible and can work from home as long as there is WiFi (I work full-time as an environmental engineer). 

I have a police check and over 20 references from households across Sydney, whose dogs, cats, rabbits, chooks and guinea pigs I've looked after.

I deal well with rescue animals, shy animals, older animals, anxious animals and young animals full of energy. 

I can give medication and provide extra care as directed (For example, I've given heart medication, anxiety medication and helped an elderly cat drink out of the basin). I let animals follow their normal routine including sleeping on beds/couches if that's what they are used to. 

Any pet owners located near the Anglican Church on Victoria Road, Parramatta, are particularly close to me. Our office is in North Sydney so housesits near North Sydney are also close to me. 

If housesitting, I can keep the garden watered, check for mail, etc. and give frequent updates about pets. 

I don't smoke.

I often can't predict my availability with long lead time so check my calendar for near-term green spaces. I update frequently.

I currently housesit for a max of 2 weeks at a time or less (I can't predict my availability ahead further than that).
