I'm Mel.
Originally from North East Victoria I moved to the area early 2023.
Having grown up on a farm, I have experience with a lot of animals big and small.
Over the years I've had and worked with and trained various dogs, from working to pets.
I've not just had cats and dogs. I also have experience with birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, chickens and some reptiles that I've had as pets.

Knowing that people's lives can be hectic and things can come up at short notice, helping to make sure that someone's pet is looked after is something I like doing, having done this for family members before.
I can also help with basic training with puppies and young dogs if need be.

My last dog, Raph (Dachshund), is no longer with me. He would go everywhere he could with me and loved everyone he met. He would always want to be either in my lap or buried in my bed. He enjoyed going on walks and even runs every now and then. People would tell me that dachshunds are hard to train but he was very food driven which made teaching him anything easy.

The boxer in my other pictures, Poe, is my ex partners dog. I had done a lot of work with him through his first year, training him to make sure he knew the basics like sitting and waiting for his food until "go" was said and a few other things like shaking hands.
