Hi everyone.

Our family welcomed a puppy Irish Setter to our family born April 2024, so any future bookings will need to be suitable to have your dog/s able to get along well with our puppy. Sorry I don't have my summer/Christmas availability yet, and will update my profile once I have my availability sorted.

My family and I enjoy dogsitting and we are excited to welcome your dog/s to our home. I'm passionate about everything to do with dogs and will look after dogs of any size and breed. Unfortunately I won't be able to look after entire male dogs as my pup will not be desexed. Your pets will be treated as part of our family with my kids and I ready to give plenty of pats and love galore. I completed RSPCA volunteer training and completed a few shifts there. I will be entering my puppy into dog shows. I have also done clicker obedience training at Holdfast Dog Centre in the past as well. I enjoy watching videos of anything to do with dogs 😊. I work part time as a registered nurse so can handle any medications or messes.

Here your dog will have access to a large doggie door to come in and out as they please to enjoy spending time with family inside as well as our nicely grassed backyard. Don't worry if your dog hasn't used a doggie door before as I can normally teach them within a couple days how to use it, even the more nervous pups. I really love it when a dog is happy to sit on the couch with me for a cuddle but respect dogs that like their space also. I will put their bed in our lounge room, but they may get some bed snuggles as well. As a dog sitter I will prepare their meals however you like and look after their exercise and mental stimulation needs. I have a good variety of grooming supplies. I have been formally dog sitting with Pawshake over a year now but have had dogs my whole life.

To be a good match your dog/s will need to be good with children as I do have a 4 year old as well as older kids. I have pet rabbits also but these guys will be kept separate from your dog/s. When I do a nursing shift your dog will be by themselves during the day for about 7-8hrs but we make up for it in the morning and evening with plenty of attention.
