Germanus Jia Pin

Hello Fellow Kahus,

My name is Germanus. I am a Malaysian-Chinese international student residing in Melbourne. I currently live by myself in a pet-friendly one bedroom apartment. Due to the tighter living situation I can unfortunately only accommodate for small to large pets. My apartment building is very secure and it is right in front of Fawkner Park and nearby Albert Park, so I consider it plenty “backyard space”. In case of an emergency, the nearest vet near me is Evervet South Yarra, which is 1km away, and many more (including hospitals) that are less than 3km from me.

I love walking and exploring, partly making sure I hit my daily 10km per day, but mainly just for the fun of it. I’m looking for an animal companion to join me on my journeys. If they’re not a fan of super long walks I would still be happy to keep them company within their comfort.

I grew up in a pet-loving home environment back home in Malaysia. The (not-so-young-anymore) pup you see most on my profile is my family’s beloved Qiu Qiu, who is a very calm lady dog just like papa.

In looking to be a pet sitter I hope to enrich my socialization with animals to lift my personal mood and the energy in my apartment. With your permission, I would love to take on the responsibility of being your pet’s guardian, by tending to them with great care, providing them with a safe and caring environment, and learning and befriending their unique personalities.

I am available most days of the week (except for a few hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays for uni classes) and am ready to communicate whenever needed, so that you can leave your animal companion with me and tend to your own activities without a worry.
