About Ben
Hello, I'm Ben and I am available and eager to assist you and your pet through thick and thin. I grew up in a very animal centric household; dogs, cats, goats, horse, crow, rabbit, ducks and more. My mum had dog training experience and a big heart so whatever turned up on our doorstep generally became a part of the family. Our eclectic hoard of critters had diverse needs and requirements so I have a plethora of experience and a calm, soothing manner that has been tried and tested on both cute and dangerous animals.
Things are a bit more relaxed now with just two cats of my own, rescued from a streetcorner as kittens and raised to be fine and upstanding beasts, along with my housemates' cranky old cat and charming old dog. So I have plenty of time, energy and love for any other animals that pass through my life.
I live in the Glenroy area so I am able to work across the Northern suburbs, but if you're unsure if you're outside of my service area don't hesitate to check with me. I have flexible availability for your pets entertainment and care needs.
I'm not available for house sitting, but feel free to contact me and discuss any additional needs or extra hours that your animal friend may require. I may still be able to offer you my excellent skills and services (Morning, Afternoon and Evenings).
My services cover all the basics of being a cat or dog butler. For house visits I will attend to all the standard food, and litter requirements as well as spending quality one-on-one time with your pet. For instance, if your cat is indoor only I will ensure it gets daily playtime to burn off energy, or for calmer less active pets some quality couch and cuddle time. For dogs I will gladly play with them outdoors or walk them per your requirements. If I notice anything that may be of concern with regard to their health then I will let you know. I am very happy to also bring in daily mail and water any plants that will need it while you are away. Let me know if your pet requires a good brushing to shake loose the excess fur. Generally I expect visits & walks to last around 30mins, but it does depend on you and your pets unique needs.
