I'm an Irish veterinary nurse, located in Melbourne since February this year. I am currently in practice, but want to spend my days off caring for your fur babies! I am 3 years qualified with plenty of post-graduate experience. I have two dogs of my own, Harry & Bella, who I miss desperately. Having come from a home in Ireland with my pets, I am looking to spend my days off doing something wholesome whilst also providing a service for those who need it. I am comfortable with all dogs sizes and happy to cater to medical needs if required. At the moment, I am offering home pet sitting, walks or pet sitting in the pets own home (whatever they are most comfortable with). I am happy to meet with your pet prior to them spending the day with me, if this makes both you & your pet more confident in my abilities! Living in St. Kilda next to an off-leash dog park, if this is what your dog likes! Alternatively, I am right beside the marine parade walk to Brighton so your dog can be safely walked, on leash, if this is what they prefer!

I am living in a wooden floored, 1 bedroom apartment. We have a small (secure) balcony with some artificial grass. We also have access to a secure rooftop. I across the road from the Peanut Reserve off leash dog area, and approximately 3 minutes walk from St. Kilda beach. I am also not far from Albert park, approximately 15 minutes walk. I am happy to walk your pet according to your usual schedule, and should they be uncomfortable with the artificial grass I am happy to take them to the park for the toilet breaks, as required.

I ask that you bring their own bedding, food & bowls, to provide a sense of normalcy in an unfamiliar surrounding! If your pet has a favourite toy, I suggest you bring that too! If your pet has dietary requirements, I am happy to adhere to this. As mentioned above, I am working in veterinary practice at the moment, so I have direct access to a vet should it be required. If your pet gets monthly injections of medication (Beransa-arthritis/Cytopoint-allergies); I am happy to do these injections whilst your pet is with me, once this has been dispensed and approved by your regular veterinarian. Providing this service can reduce vet-visit induced stress in your pup, happy to discuss this further with you!
