Hey, my name's Talia! i'm from the UK but currently studying/training in Melbourne. I grew up in a super animal-y environment, dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, hamsters you name it, i've had them or looked after them! Since moving to Melbourne I've really missed having animals in my life and so wanted to start pet sitting, I've used other apps in the past but have now transferred to Pawshake. I've had experience with dogs with behaviour issues such as lead aggression and food possessiveness so available to help owners who need someone with a bit more experience in that regard. Also happy and comfortable with animals of all, breeds, sizes and temperaments.
As a sitter I offer dog walking, and pet sitting in owner's home. I am in uni 9-5 so whoever i'm looking after will have me during the early mornings and evenings unless I am on holiday in which case they will have me during the day as well.
Having had my own fur babies since before I can remember until adulthood means I know that it can be really nerve wracking leaving an extra member of the family with a stranger so rest assured you'll be plied with photo updates and a chance to get to me first as well as letting your pet get to know me too.

We highly recommend Talia! She took amazing care of Sophie whilst we were away, ensuring she was well-fed, played with, and kept company. We received regular updates, which put our minds at ease. It was clear Soph was happy and comfortable the entire time.
Talia was a great and communicative pet sitter for my pup on the weekend! She did an in house visit for about 6 hours and ensured my pup was played with and looked after! She communicated as soon as she got there with voice notes and photo updates, letting me know Boofie was doing good. Would definitely recommend Talia, and will rebook her in the future!
