Hello. My name is Helen and I have worked with animals most of my life. I began working with horses mainly but moved to working with small animals about 8 years ago. I have always had a great love of our furry and feathered and even scaley friends. For the last 8 years I have worked at a boarding kennel where I got to enjoy doggos and cats and all sorts of other beautiful creatures. My duties at the kennels was daily medications, cleaning kennels including disinfection, daily play sessions matching dog personalities, walking, health checks, wound management and liaising with vets, wound or trauma recognition and health/diet management. My partner and I have decided to semi retire recently and so I wanted to still work with animals but not in such a demanding environment. I cannot imagine my life without them. I have had a lot of experience with all sorts of personalities be it anxious animals, old or infirm animals needing medications or just having fun throwing a ball.
