About Sarah
Hi there, please let me introduce myself. My name is Sarah and I have been pet sitting for almost 5 years now and love it!
I do love my doggies, and also volunteer on occasion as a foster Mum to rescue dogs via Lucky Paws Inc.
Don’t get me wrong though - I love all animals and have over 11 years' experience with dogs, cats, fish, and a variety of birds.
I have recently completed the Australian Red Cross Pet First Aid online course.
Your pet(s) will be very well looked after by me and are welcomed into my home as if they are my very own pet. My pet-sitting business is a family affair, including my youngest (12 years old) who is always happy to help out with walks, playtime, cuddles and lots of attention.
I can also give oral medication to your pet(s) while you are away, and it’s no problem giving them flea/tick/worming medication if you’re going on a longer holiday.
Fencing around my property is 1.5 metres high, and not suitable for athletic dogs who like to jump or climb fences, unfortunately. But if your pooch is not a jumper, then they are most welcome here :)
My backyard is fully fenced naturally, with an large, long undercover verandah area. Dogs have plenty of room to stretch out and do their thing.
Pets (particularly dogs) also need to have their tick & flea medication up to date as we live on acreage.
My home is clean, tidy and pet friendly. Pets are welcome inside the house and I have a doggie door in my laundry for ease of access.
Dogs sleep inside at night with options of my garage, laundry, living room, my spare bed or in their crate in the home.
Pet sitting IS my job so I work from home looking after your furry family member - pets are rarely left alone for more than an hour.
I have a large house, including a granny flat where indoor cats can stay in air-conditioned comfort and peace, with room to roam.
I don’t own a cat so getting a kitty-fix through pet sitting is the next best thing. I am able to separate the cats from the dogs, the dogs don’t even realise I have a feline house guest.
I look after indoor dogs as well, separate from my dogs, guest dogs & guest cats. Bookings for indoor dogs limited. They stay in the main house with me during their stay.
