Heya! 😊 I'm Monique and I'm 34 years old. Last year I completed Certificate III Animal Care and began my Certificate VI Vet Nursing in July (2024). As part of my Certificate III, I attended the RSPCA- in the mornings I administered medication to dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, prepared meals, cleaned their homes and provided exercise. In the afternoon we covered theory in relation to welfare, behaviour, enrichment and infection control. This year we have studied more in depth topics such as anatomy & physiology, and nursing care routines. 

I joined Pawshake to aid in my learning journey and to help me become an experienced, compassionate Vet Nurse in the future. I have years of experience with my own pets (dogs/birds) as well as looking after my colleagues pets (dogs/cats- both here and overseas) while they were away. This year I have petsit chickens and a rabbit. 

Services Offered:

-Pet sitting including one visit per day or overnight stays at your house. 

I will ensure your pets eating/drinking and toileting habits are taken care of, their medication is administered and that their bedding area is clean and comfortable. I can provide lots of love and exercise or leave them alone if they prefer. 

I'm happy to accommodate any requests such as plant watering, bin/mail collection and you will absolutely walk in to a clean home when you return.   

The most important thing for me is that your sweet pet feels safe, comfortable and taken care of. I have a police check dated from 2022 which I can provide upon request. My family had a beautiful Maltese Shih Tzu who sadly left us in June this year, so I have lots of experience with senior pets. 😊
