Hi, I'm Char, I'm a current bachelor of science/doctor of veterinary medicine student at Melbourne University, and I am looking to get valuable work experience taking care of animals. I am based in Glen Waverley but willing to work within a 10km radius of home.

I have the most experience working with mid to large dogs, but I also have experience with smaller dogs, cats, fish, rabbits and chickens. I am also willing to discuss caring for any other kinds of pets. I have experience with and am willing to work with strong-willed breeds like airedale terriers. I have experience petsitting pets anywhere from 6 months old to 18 years old, including high energy animals and animals with medical issues and disabilities such as deafness, arthritis, dislocating joints, hyperthyroidism and IBS. 

Usually I take on responsibilities of feeding, cleaning, medicating, exercising and companionship (as applicable). Any other requirements (reinforcing training, vet visits, watering plants etc.) I'm willing to discuss. 

I would also be providing housesitting services, as I petsit out of your house, to provide your pet with the most comfort during the stressful times of their loved ones being away. As a sidenote to this, most of the time I have other casual employment and university requirements, so while I am otherwise home, if your pets cannot be left home alone for a few hours for any reason (eg. severe seperation anxiety) then I am not the right sitter for you.

Before finalising any petsitting arrangements, I require complete information of what's expected of me, as well as having met the animals and having seen the living situation in order to assess my own capacity to provide the services required of me.
